My name is Kim Argubright and I started making soap because I was tired of not finding a truly natural & moisturizing soap. My creative & artistic daughter designed and drew all the frog logos on my packaging. As you can see, this is a real family business.

I love soap, real soap, and nature offers us so many botanicals to improve the health of our skin, naturally. I felt they should be the foundation of my products. You'll find my ingredients are not only identifiable, they can be pronounced!

The soaps I used to buy had detergents or fillers and made my skin feel squeeky clean. The problem is by leaving your skin squeeky clean, you have actually stripped your skin of its natural oils. I choose to not use palm oils in my soap because I have seen articles about depleting rain forests for strip farming. There have also been counter articles stating this is not true. Since I cannot see it for myself and in my chemist's opinion, palm oil is a filler, I opted not to use palm oils. I don't want to be the possible cause of the orangutan's demise. As far as dyes go, I just don't feel they serve a purpose in soap. You won't get a purple soap from lavender buds, or a green soap from olive oil, or even a yellow soap from calendula oil. All the colors you see in my soap are from the herbs. There are no extraneous ingredients.

Some people ask how I came up with the name, Enchanted Frog Soap. First of all, I love frogs and their existence lies in how we are treating our environment. "Save the Frogs, Save the World!" Because I don't use artificial or vegetable dyes, my soaps are not superficially pretty. However, the bulk of my soaps are made with the most moisturizing luxurious oils I can get, so the beauty of this soap is inside, not out. Hence the name, Enchanted Frog Soap.
